To serve a world that has come to love instant-everything, synthetics and artificial dyes have rapidly begun to spread their deadly roots into the apparel world. Not only does the toxicity harm the skin it touches, but also slowly eats away the environment upon which it lingers.
As fellow beings who’ve had a fair share of reckless desires and deeds, this brutal revelation stroked our deepest conscious. It was there where we resolved to make amends for years of unwitting treason.
It was that spark of moral fibre that led to the birth of Rustic Tones.
Rustic Tones works to produce sustainable clothing that not only protects but nurtures both the people and the planet. To achieve such merit, we bring back traditional techniques of production to our clothing lines. Right from the snug swaddles that mimic the womb to the tender towels that wipe away without withering, you will feel the richness of the fabric at every touch and are designed practically useful ones. Our products flaunt a boastful range of sophisticated shades such as Annatto yellow, Palash pink, Myrobalan brown!

We extract colours from flowers, leaves, seeds and barks of herbal trees and plants of our India. Which is used in ayurveda and siddha medicines in treating various ailments. Where each plant or tree has huge benefits to skin. And which has anti-bacterial and UV-protection properties by nature. The residue water from dyes is used to water plants & trees.
All our fabrics our natural and certified. Which ensures safe for babies’ skin.
We design only practically useful designs. Where it is super easy for babies and mother making change over time so much fun filled easy job.
Each piece is shibori and hand dyed by artisans with extra care and love. And each artisan is paid well.
Fabric scrape is repurposed by small group of women to make bands and clips.
